Palma
During your stay in Palma, make sure to tick these monuments off your must-see list: the Cathedral, Bellver Castle, La Lonja and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina. If you fancy going to a museum, you can have your pick of various interesting ones including Es Baluard and the Pilar & Joan Miró Foundation. If you want to go shopping, you can check out the Passeig del Born and its exclusive shops. And when you get hungry, you’ll find all kinds of restaurants in La Llotja neighbourhood, Passeig del Born and Porta de Santa Catalina. You can explore the city on foot, or if you prefer, take a sightseeing bus. Oh, and weather-permitting of course (the weather is usually nice all year round), you will be able to have a dip in the sea on one of its five beaches.

Valldemossa
Valldemossa is less than 30 kilometres away from Palma by car. It is famous, amongst other things, because the musician Chopin and writer George Sand stayed in its majestic Charterhouse. For many it is one of the most beautiful towns in Majorca and, as you can imagine, walking through its cobbled streets and charming squares makes you never want to leave.

Sóller
The charming town Sóller is just over 30 kilometres away from Palma by car. You could rent a car or go for something a little more original: there is an old train with traditional wooden wagons operating between Palma and Sóller, taking you through mountains and valleys. A unique experience. Furthermore, Sóller is just 20 kilometres away from Valldemossa, so you won't need to choose between the two, you’ll be able to visit both in the same day.

Inspirational mountains in the Sierra de Tramuntana
If you’re in the mood for something a little more active, be sure to go to Sierra de Tramuntana, where you’ll find the perfect routes for hiking and cycling. The mountain range stretches over 90 kilometres, running parallel to the North-Eastern coast of the island from Andratx to cape Formentor. You will find hundreds of walkways, many of which are associated with the great route GR-221, that include shelters, recreational areas and interpretation centres. If you prefer to go horse riding, you will also find places to ride in this area, with several companies offering packages. And if you want even more adventure, you’ll not be short of options: canyoning, diving, climbing, waterskiing, kitesurfing, rafting, etc.
