Santiago Bernabéu (Real Madrid)
Although there is a greater preference for some colours than others, what is indisputable is that Real Madrid is the football team with the best track record in the world. This is the team that has won the Champions League, the most prestigious club tournament in existence, more times than anyone else. But did you know that you can take a photo next to all the trophies in the Real Madrid museum, inside the stadium itself? For this and many other reasons, the Tour de Bernabéu is among the most visited museums in the capital of Spain every year. The colossal Santiago Bernabéu, with a capacity for more than 80,000 people, was inaugurated in 1947. But it has been transformed: after its last renovation, it has incorporated striking new features that you can see on the tour, such as the new retractable roof and its 360-degree video scoreboard, which rotates around the space like a 'royal' crown. In the museum, apart from countless trophies and souvenirs, you will find a kind of giant audiovisual tunnel/corridor to walk through, where the players greet and even cheer for visitors. And if you fancy having something to drink, you can do so without leaving the stadium. For example, in the Plaza Mahou area, where the brand serves beers that it brews in the factory it has set up there; or in the raised and extremely exclusive VIP box, both with impressive views over the playing field.

Nuevo Metropolitano (Atlético de Madrid)
Madrid is the city of endless options, so it is only fitting that it hosts another luxury stadium, the Nuevo Metropolitano, which, since 2017, has been home to the other great team from the capital city: Atletico Madrid. Built on top of the structure of an old Olympic stadium, it boasts a remarkable museum and offers an impressive tour. The new Metropolitano looks almost galactic, especially at night, and its museum is packed with interactive elements and highly original experiences. The red-and-white fans are known for their extreme level of passion, and here you will even find a surround-sound karaoke where they can teach you their songs, and an old telephone booth where you can dial a number and hear the coach or players tell you about their experiences. In addition, there is a premium tour that includes extras such as taking a kick-off on the pitch or having breakfast in the coach's box.

Barça Immersive Tour (FC Barcelona)
The other great capital of Spanish football is Barcelona, home to another of the most popular teams in the country and the entire world: FC Barcelona, the 'Barça', founded in 1899. The blue-and-red team, the second most successful in Spain, has an iconic and imposing stadium: Camp Nou, which boasts the largest capacity in all of Europe, with nearly 100,000 seats. While remodelling is underway to further expand and modernise it, its 'soul' has been moved directly opposite, to the Barça Immersive Tour: the club's fantastic interactive and immersive museum. Its giant screens and virtual reality headsets make you feel like you're practically another player on the team. You can also take a night tour and have the stadium be your last stop, with live music and a drink.

Nuevo San Mamés (Athletic Club of Bilbao)
The club that is perhaps the most closely linked to its fans and its homeland is Athletic Club de Bilbao, in the Basque Country: the only one that maintains the tradition of having a staff entirely made up of locals. The Basque red-and-whites are so faithful to their tradition that they built the new San Mamés in 2013, exactly next to where their other legendary stadium stood, known as 'La Catedral' for a century. The San Mamés Museum and Tour also mixes tradition and modernity, touch screens and old football shoes. You will be able to visit everything from a dazzling pyramid-shaped corridor with the names and surnames of all Athletic Club members, creating almost a 'Matrix effect', to the famous stuffed lion and symbol of the club. At the foot of the pitch, you will discover the bust of the team's first great star, Pichichi, who is still the protagonist of a centuries-old tradition: visiting teams who set foot in San Mamés for the first time leave flowers as a tribute. You can also kick the ball in a penalty simulator with someone very special playing goalkeeper: Iribar, an idol for the people of Bilbao.Bilbao is known for its good food. You can see this in the stadium itself, with three different restaurants that have menus to suit all tastes, with unbeatable views of the pitch where the big matches happen.

Anoeta (Real Sociedad)
Also in the Basque Country, 100 kilometres from Bilbao, is the wonderful city of San Sebastián, home of the Real Sociedad. The remodeled Anoeta stadium offers a very interesting tour of the Anoeta/Reale Arena, which includes a virtual experience where visitors can feel the excitement of a match. You will also be impressed by the very large private boxes, the completely circular locker room so that all the players feel equally important, and even a whole dining room/restaurant for the footballers, which has the special aesthetic of traditional Basque gastronomic societies.

Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán (Sevilla FC)
At almost the opposite end of Spain lies another of the can't-miss cities: Seville. Passion is a hallmark of the capital of Andalusia – and that certainly is true of its football. Sevilla Fútbol Club is the most successful team in the south of the country, and their stadium, Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán offers a unique visit to an equally impressive venue. Marvel at the many UEFA Europa League trophies in its display cases, all from the 21st century – a competition in which Sevilla FC has been the biggest winner to date. There is also a large map of European countries and teams that the team has faced, and you have the option of adding an immersive experience to the tour.

Mestalla (Valencia CF)
On the shores of the Mediterranean lies the third largest Spanish city, Valencia, a must-see for any traveller. Valencia CF, one of the top 5 in the historical ranking of the Spanish La Liga, is its top team, and Mestalla Stadium, inaugurated in 1923, is the oldest in the First Division.Take the opportunity to visit the pitch and museum and delight in the height of the stands and the gigantic black bat on an orange background formed by the chairs on one side (this animal appears on the crests of the city and the club). The Nuevo Mestalla will be ready to take the reins from this century-old stadium in 2027.

La Cerámica Stadium (Villarreal CF)
Less than an hour's drive north of Valencia, in the province of Castellón, is Villarreal, a town of just 50,000 inhabitants with a stadium that could seat half of its population – and which has managed to have a club that is firmly established in the First Division has even won a European title. Villarreal Club de Fútbol sports bright yellow, and so does its remodelled Estadio de la Cerámica, which looks like a huge spaceship parked in the middle of the city.La Cerámica offers a very atypical and original tour: A dive, but of a different kind, as the team is known by the nickname 'Yellow Submarine', like the Beatles song. The visit is set in one of these underwater vessels, and to find out some details you will have to look through... periscopes! If adventure whets your appetite, you have three dining options to choose from.
