Festival Quincena Musical de San Sebastián, the oldest festival in Spain
Since 1939, the city of San Sebastián has hosted La Quincena Musical in August, a classical music festival with a rich program of activities and concerts by renowned performers. And it gives visibility to very talented new artists.Its stages have received conductors such as Münch, Neumann and Sir Colin Davis, and symphony orchestras from the Basque Country, London, Berlin, Saint Petersburg and many other places. Ballet has been performed by the Tokyo Ballet and New York City Ballet; and renowned soloists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Montserrat Caballé and Plácido Domingo have sung at the festival.

Bay of Biscay, the new name of the Mundaka Festival
