Granada
It would take more than a paragraph to list all the things to do and see in this Andalusian city, but one of the essentials is a walk in the Albaicín Arab district. If you get a bit tired going up and down its hilly streets, you can relax at one of its traditional bars, where the tapas are usually delicious. Another almost obligatory stop is at one of the Arab baths… there are endless tempting options. Segovia
This city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and you’ll understand why as soon as you see it. Its most famous sight is the Roman Aqueduct, built over 2000 years ago and perfectly preserved. You’ll also be impressed by the Alcázar, a fairytale castle which has been restored and remodelled by different Spanish monarchs since it was built in the Middle Ages. Mallorca

Girona

Tenerife
The largest of the Canary Islands boasts one of the symbols of Spain: Mount Teide, the country’s highest peak. You can opt for a long walk to the top, over 3,700 metres up, or if you prefer, take a car or bus to the foot of the mountain, and then a cable car. Both options are valid, but don’t leave without the experience. Another place worth visiting is La Laguna, a 15th century city made for wandering its colourful streets and enjoying the unique atmosphere. And if you’re in Tenerife, you must try a swim in the amazing natural pools at Garachico, created by a volcanic eruption in 1706.
