-
Preparation
Dissolve the bread dough in a bowl by adding the lukewarm water gradually. Add the eggs one by one and when everything is perfectly bound together add the flour, the sugar and the salt until it forms a dough. Work it until it becomes elastic, add oil and let it stand, covered with a tea towel. After about four hours roll the dough out on the work surface and work it a little more, kneading it from time to time. Break it into pieces of about the size you want the tortells to be. Roll out and add the lard. With the pieces of dough rolled out one beside the other, put the marzipan on one side forming a cylinder with the same length and a thickness proportionate to the size of the tortells. Roll the dough around the marzipan. Then form a spiral by joining the two ends and put them in a baking dish. Make about three equally spaced cuts so the marzipan can be seen. Allow to become a little more spongy, covered with the tea towel so as not to give them air. Preheat the oven and allow to cook for about 40 minutes.
