Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia

To preserve industrial heritage and remember the industrialisation process in the 19th century, which had such an impact on Catalonia. This is the fundamental objective of this museum located in Terrassa .

Through a series of permanent exhibitions, dramatized tours and demonstrations, this cultural space shows the changes and advances brought about by the industrial revolution, such as the development of factories and means of transport, the textile industry and mining. Topics such as industrial architecture, science, technology and energy also have a place in this venue. The MNACTEC heads a network of around 30 associated museums, across various towns in Catalonia and all of them connected to the protection of Catalan industrial heritage.
