Its facade is the first Renaissance art in Spain. This school was founded by Cardinal Mendoza in the XV century.Initially a Gothic design was contemplated, but it then evolved into Plateresque decoration. To it you would have to sum up the Neoclassic reforms by Ventura Rodríguez in the XVIII century. The building has a patio on three floors with a series of semicircular arches. It has a library in which the “Beato de Valcabado” miniature painting by Obeco can be found. In the chapel there is a carving, the “Cristo de la Luz”, work of Gregorio Fernández. Actualmente es residencia universitaria adscrita a la Universidad de Valladolid.
