Reus Salvador Vilaseca Museum
The life and history of Reus
It exhibits pieces from prehistory to contemporary times.
The museum offers a journey through the history of Reus and is divided into three sections: Salvador Vilaseca, which focuses on Archaeology; Art and History; and the Centre de la Imatge Mas Iglesias, which focuses on audiovisual art and materials.Among the numerous collections on display are ceramics from the 16th and 17th centuries; pieces that formed part of the main altarpiece of the parish church; Gothic panels and two Baroque processional floats, as well as archaeological materials from prehistory and the Roman era. Also noteworthy is the permanent exhibition Gaudí & Reus, which examines the architect Gaudí's links with the city through drawings, writings and personal objects of this creator.
