A perspective on Spanish art
Its vast catalog includes art collections from 1918 to the present day.
The site of this museum is one of the Renaissance cloisters of the old San Benito monastery. Its collections provide a coherent overview of the main artists and trends in Spanish art of the 20th and 21st centuries. With a collection of more than 1,100 works, its galleries contain pieces by artists such as Esteban Vicente, Eduardo Chillida, Miquel Barceló and Antoni Tàpies. Also of note is the Ángel Ferrant Collection, which includes sculptures, drawings and more than 3,500 documents, and the Buades Gallery Archive.
