Renaissance and Baroque
The church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción houses an important collection of artworks.
The items on display are primarily from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. These include six tapestries from the 15th century, attributed to Nuño Gonçalves, which depict scenes of the conquest of northern African cities by the Portuguese army. Also of interest is the tomb of the Prince of Éboli.
