Sant Jordi Palace

Designed by Arata Isozaki, it is the most significant building of the Barcelona of the Olympic Games.
The Palau de Sant Jordi is the most impressive of the numerous constructions built on the occasion of the Olympic Games of 1992. It was designed by the Japanese architect Arata Isozaki and is a real jewel of vanguardist architecture. It has a capacity for 18,000 spectators and its interior holds sporting and cultural events. The Calatrava tower is nearby, its modern design became the symbol of the Barcelona of the Olympic Games.
