Gardens of the Pedralbes Palace

The park of the Royal Palace of Pedralbes was once a property owned by the Güell family, which they ceded in 1920 for the construction of a royal residence, non-existent in Barcelona at the time. The simplicity of the solution and the “popular” resources (water, flower pots, etc.) used combine perfectly with the classical busts that top the railing and the friendly and not at all imposing façade of the small palace. The overall effect is, the same time, extremely elegant.
