Ovando Palace
Renaissance palace reformed in the 18th century
The entrance is a half moon arch.
House or Palace of the Ovando built in 1519, Renaissance, although reformed in the 18th century. One example of palace architecture of Cáceres during the 15th and 16th centuries. It was supposed to have had two towers, one on each side of the main facade however one of them was never finished. In the tower that was finished there is a window decorated with an arch. The bars of the windows of the facade, and above all, the entrance with half-moon arch are worthy of mention.
