Condes de Miranda Palace
Also known as the Palace of Avellaneda. D. Francisco de Zúñiga and Avellaneda, third count of Miranda, charged to Francisco de Colonia. Renaissance from the XVI century. Its facade and patio are Plateresque and the ornamentation is Mudejar.It has one of the best Renaissance handiwork of Castilla y León, in particular in the Embassy Room. In this room there is also a chimney stucco cut in a way that is extremely representative of the palace.On it, a closed gallery with lattices from where the music came from during the balls held by the Count.Worthy of note is the elegant staircase and a patio on two floors around which are the roomsToday it is used a a University study and convention centre.
