Palace of Berenguer d’Aguilar

Barcelona

Gothic building, home of the Picasso Museum.

The structure of the building dates back to the 15th century, although it has elements from various periods. Since 1963 it has housed the collections of the Picasso Museum. During the restoration works, some wonderful mural paintings were discovered, depicting King James I of Aragon and his nobles in the city of Palma de Mallorca. It is part of the complex, together with the Baron de Castellet, Meca, Mauri and Finestres Palaces.
