A journey through history
It displays part of Navarre's heritage from prehistory to the present day.
The museum displays prehistoric archaeological remains, as well as Roman objects, Romanesque and Muslim art, Gothic and Renaissance works; a collection of paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as canvases by Navarre-based artists of the 19th century.In 2019, the museum undertook a major renovation to showcase Navarrese artists from the 20th and 21st centuries. A small collection of large protohistoric stelae was also added.
