Caesaraugusta Forum Museum

Zaragoza

The origin of the city

A visit to the ancient colony of Caesaraugusta allows you to discover what life was like during Roman times.

The museum is located under what is now the La Seo Plaza and displays the archaeological remains of the city's Roman forum from the time of the Emperors Augustus and Tiberius. There are also remains of a market, pipes, a sewer and some walls of shops from the time of Emperor Augustus, when Zaragoza was founded. The exhibition is completed with an impressive audiovisual installation.
