Ibiza

A journey into rural life

An old country house houses this complex that features numerous traditional objects.

The museum building is a clear example of traditional architecture, and it aims to recover characteristic elements of the island's rural life. Its display cases showcase traditional costumes, all kinds of work and agricultural tools, musical instruments, toys, weapons, jewellery and even an olive oil mill. A collection of photographs covers the last half century of Ibiza's history. Craft workshops and temporary exhibitions are also held.
