A journey into the history of Olivenza
This museum has an interesting collection displayed throughout over 26 rooms.
The museum is located in a historic-artistic location: the Castle and the King's Bakery, dating from the 13th and 18th centuries respectively. Inside there is a collection of more than 7,000 pieces which illustrate the traditions and customs of the people of Olivenza since the mid-19th century. Especially noteworthy are its farm tools, archaeological remains, musical scores and instruments, religious art, precious metalwork and painted panels.
