Visiting the Ethnographic Museum of Castile and Leon is the best way to learn about the culture, traditions and history of one of Spain's greatest regions. A modern building in the centre of Zamora houses thousands of pieces and jewels of immense artistic and anthropological value, regarded as some of Spain's most important cultural heritage. The Museum has seven floors; some of them are underground floors. Visitors can learn about man's relationship with the environment and nature, work and daily life in this area throughout its history, its festivities and traditions, popular art and typical regional decorations, social norms, education and religion.
