Artziniega
Magnificent collection of tools for traditional crafts
Located next to the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de la Encina, the Ethnographic Museum houses an important collection of instruments used in the traditional trades of the region.
Opened in 1984, the tools in the museum's collection relate to traditional crafts and trades in the Ayala region (Álava). The permanent exhibition displays the tools and equipment used in trades such as blacksmithing, carpentry, stonework, bobbin lace making, sewing, espadrille making and ceramics, among others.
