Mateo Hernández Municipal Sculpture Museum

It contains works by one of the main representatives of animal sculpture and other artists.

This museum, located in the old church of San Gil, houses almost all the work of the sculptor Mateo Hernández. These are creations sculpted using direct carving on very hard stones. It also houses sculptures by other artists such as Francisco González Macías, also from Béjar.
