A flagship for the sustainable mobility of the future
The Ibercaja Foundation space is located on the Zaha Hadid Bridge, in Zaragoza, an avant-garde icon to learn about the evolution and transformation of mobility.
The sustainable mobility that will define the new ways in which people will move around is the core of Mobility City, an initiative promoted by Fundación Ibercaja that aims to make Zaragoza and Aragon the focal point for discussion of this concept.Mobility City is defined by innovation and cutting-edge developments, both in terms of its content and its venue: the Zaha Hadid Bridge. This prestigious Iraqi architect - the first woman to win the Pritzker Architecture prize - designed the bridge for Zaragoza's 2008 International Expo. The unique nature and composition of the bridge make it unique in Europe.Mobility City has 2,700 m2 of exhibition space in four areas: the innovation section, which highlights the developments and potential of the companies involved in Mobility City; the exhibition space, with various temporary exhibits; the experiences area, which conveys messages about new mobility using virtual reality glasses and simulators of efficient driving; and the auditorium, for conferences, presentations, meetings and events relating to the automotive and business sectors.
