Badajoz
This aqueduct was built following the height of the terrain and using different materials, including brick, stonework, masonry and natural rock.
It has three rows of arches, and once had distribution basins and settling basins with staggered layers to decant the water. In the Albarregas Valley area it is 25 metres high. The materials used to build it –granite and brick– give it a colourful look. The semi-circular arches are reinforced by arches of different heights.
