The use of the catenary.

Antoni Gaudí used the “catenary” effect here for the first time, that is, holding a chain by the ends and allowing the curve it forms due to the law of gravity to be seen. This is then inverted with bricks and turned into an architectural work.

Highlights include a wrought-iron dragon and the door with a Celtic cross. It uses the catenary as an architectural element. It is Gaudí's third brick work. It has several brick arches topped with pinnacles.
