A cave dwelling
This museum gives visitors an in-depth look at these cave dwellings dug into the terrain, very typical in the area.
The origin of these caves dates back to the 16th century. Taking advantage of the clayey nature of the terrain, these houses were dug into hills and ridges, creating different rooms and halls adapted to their functions. Among other rooms, the caves also included stables for animals. This museum shows the way of life of its inhabitants, featuring audiovisual projections and a wide variety of objects related to rural life and the traditional crafts of the region.
