A permanent collection of engravings by this painting genius is on display.
These spaces are very near to each other in the town where Francisco de Goya (1746-1828) was born, Fuendetodos, 44 kilometres from Zaragoza. The painter's birthplace is a modest farmhouse from the beginning of the 18th century, decorated with period furniture and belongings, as well as graphic documentation. The building, which stands out for its austerity and sobriety, consists of a ground floor with an entrance hall, stable and kitchen; an upper floor with a living room and two bedrooms; and a double-sided barn. The Engraving Museum is just a few metres away, in another typical Aragonese house. The museum houses a permanent collection of Goya's graphic works from the series The Disasters of War, The Caprichos, The Follies and Tauromaquia.
