The terraces of this unique museum offer one of the finest views of the old quarter of Santiago de Compostela.
CGAC is an impressive building by the Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza. Together with the Church and Monastery of San Domingos de Bonaval and the park of the same name, it forms part of a harmonious site combining tradition and modernity in the city. Inside you can see works from both the Galician and international context, especially from Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American artists from the second half of the 20th century. It also usually hosts a variety of temporary exhibitions on the main current artistic trends.
