Cork Museum of Catalonia

The exhibition helps visitors understand the process of transforming the bark of cork oak trees into products, such as corks.

This museum preserves, studies and disseminates in a monographic manner the cultural and natural heritage related to the world of cork. The visit offers an insight into bioecology, which focuses on cork oak forests, where cork comes from, as well as its extraction and use; the process and machinery used as part of the traditional cork manufacturing process, and the sculptures and altarpieces made using this material.
