Collegiate and parish church of Pastrana
Mediaeval tapestries.
The church has a very good collection of tapestries and paintings.
This building combines Gothic and Renaissance styles (the façade). Of particular note inside is an altarpiece by Matías Jimeno. The Parish Museum can also be visited, and contains mediaeval tapestries dating from the 15th century which were woven by Grenier in the best Flemish workshops. The drawings on the tapestries are by Nuño Gonçálvez. Of particular note is the 13th-century Romanesque Christ. There are a number of paintings by Carreño, Luis Fernández and El Greco. Inside the church is the tomb of the famous Princess of Éboli.
