This is a Gothic church, but with a Renaissance chancel. It has a single nave and side chapels. The main façade is in the Isabelline Gothic style. It has a semi-circular splayed arch, with archivolts decorated with plant motifs. On the mullion, there is an image of Santiago. The Main Chapel was built between the 16th and 17th centuries. It was conceived as an autonomous unit, separated from the nave by a triumphal arch. The dome has a square base, and is decorated with sunken panels. In the 18th century the Capilla de la Comunión chapel was added. It has a doorway divided into two sections, in line with the style of Baroque altarpieces.
