Church of San Andrés (Ponferrada)

This church is mediaeval in origin, although the current church is Baroque and dates from the 17th century. It has a single nave, a ground plan in the shape of a classic Latin cross, and a dome supported on pendentives in the transept. Located at the foot of the castle, this is one of the oldest and most important monuments in the old quarter of town.
