The cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción is built on the highest point of Puig del Castell.
Built between the 13th and 15th centuries and dedicated to Santa María. It was built on the same site as the old mosque from around 1203 under the supervision of Pere de Coma. Consecrated in 1278, the layout is Romanesque, with three naves, a transept with an octagonal dome, and five apses in the sanctuary.
