Casa de Pilatos. Seville

Casa de Pilatos

Sevilla

Its construction began at the end of the 15th century and it is the prototype of an Andalusian palace.

It splendidly integrates several architectural styles. The entrance is Renaissance and crowned with Gothic cresting. The main courtyard has Mudejar and Plateresque decoration. In the Judges' Rest Hall, there is a beautiful arch covered with Mudéjar and Gothic elements, a beautiful tiled baseboard and a plaster frieze.
