Caja de Burgos Art Centre (CAB)

This art centre is a newly constructed building located in the historic centre of the city of Burgos, just a stone's throw from the famous cathedral. The CAB displays the Caja de Burgos Foundation Collection, made up of more than 600 works: a fine example of contemporary art from the late 20th century onwards. In its various spaces, it also hosts exhibitions related to contemporary culture through innovative artistic contributions.

Visitors can find exhibitions covering a wide variety of art forms, including sculpture, drawing and photography, as well as enjoy activities such as musical performances. The centre aims to showcase trends that reflect the use of new technology and media. Although the programme of exhibitions gives special importance to local artists, it is also common to find works by artists from other countries who use their original vision to help us enter into the complex world of contemporary creation.In addition to organising a range of activities for families, guided tours and interviews with exhibiting artists, the CAB also features spaces such as a library, a conference room, a meeting place for artistic activities and a terrace with unbeatable views of the city.
