Benahoarita Archaeological Museum
La Palma
A modern building that houses a permanent exhibition on the "auaritas" or "benahoaritas", who were the island's settlers before it was conquered. The exhibition also explains how they were incorporated into the Crown of Castile. Visitors can find items that explain all about the habitat, houses, industries and culture of these settlers.
