What are the wines like?
Wines from Somontano are fruity with a good alcohol content and appropriate acidity. The white wines have a fresh flavour, fruity and smooth, and are pale in colour with yellow hues. The rosé wines are very similar. For their part, the red wines are notable for their ruby red colour, their bouquet of wild red fruits and their velvety, complex flavours. All these wines are produced using different types of grapes, but the Chardonnay variety is prevalent.
