The Bioparc Aquarium of Gijón features 60 freshwater and saltwater aquariums where visitors can discover the flora and fauna of the world's seas, with more than 5,000 creatures of 460 species.
From salmon, eels and sturgeons to moray eels, rays, loggerhead turtles, bull sharks, starfish or clownfish. This is a visit that, starting with the local environment, recreates as many as 12 ecosystems, from the rivers of Asturias to the Cantabrian coast, the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, the American tropical rainforest, the Pacific and Indian Oceans, the great rivers and lakes of Africa and the Mediterranean Sea.
