The Jewish QuarterThere were two Jewish quarters in Cáceres, the New and the Old. It is in the latter where you can visit the old synagogue. The best idea is to stroll along the backstreets and admire the impressive façades on the various homes. Las Veletas Palace (Cáceres Museum)At this palace, also known as Casa de los Aljibes, you will discover one of the city's best kept secrets: one of the best preserved Arabic wells (aljibes) in the world. And the fact that you were waiting for: some of the scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed in the old town, right here. Cáceres will take your breath away, as will Extremadura.
