Two weeks in Valencia and the Balearic Islands

Also worth a visit are the Serranos Towers, defensive structures built in the old city walls, and a stroll through the Barrio del Carmen, one of the most iconic districts in the city.Don't leave without taking a stroll through the Plaza de la Virgen to see first-hand the Cathedral of Santa María with its famous Miguelete, the Basilica of the Virgen de los Desamparados and the Palace of the Generalitat. Last but not least, you can’t leave Valencia without sampling the varied and delicious Valencian cuisine. Put the finishing touch to your trip by trying a genuine Valencian paella, a dish of mussels and a well-chilled glass of horchata.
