Formentera, Balearic Islands.Few places could be more romantic than an island with white sand beaches lapped by a sparkling turquoise sea. You can get away from it all in its secluded coves, where you can relax to the sound of the waves, like Caló d’es Morts. You can also stroll around any of the many street markets dotted around the island, and in the evening, enjoy an incredible sunset next to the Cabo de Barbaria lighthouse, where the sea seems to melt into the sky at the horizon… A place to fall in love with.

Tossa de Mar, Catalonia.One of the loveliest destinations on the Costa Brava, where you can sink your toes into the sandy beach and listen to the sound of the waves, or turn to your right and explore the ancient walls of Tossa de Mar and the old town inside them. This medieval construction is an official Property of Cultural Interest and part of Spain’s historic heritage. At night, when the wall is lit up, you’ll feel like characters in a story while you stroll around the picturesque Vila Vella district. And here there are plenty of coves for enjoying the sun and sea in peace and quiet, such as Cala Futadera and Cala Pola.

The beaches of Cabo de Gata, Almería.Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park is a fantastic setting for a holiday for two. Natural settings far from the hustle and bustle of the city, especially on the coast, with a plethora of unspoilt beaches like Playa del Mónsul, where you can relax among idyllic scenery, or Playa de Los Genoveses, where you’ll love to stroll along the shore. Peace and quiet will be your companions while you explore some of the charming little whitewashed villages that are so typical of Almería, such as Mojácar, considered one of the most beautiful in Spain.

The Basque Coast, Basque Country.Northern Spain is also full of fascinating spots where you can enjoy special moments with your partner. Amazing landscapes unchanged by time, like the Flysch cliffs and rock formations, over 50 million years old, creating stunning scenery you can enjoy from the viewing points of the villages Zumaia, Deba and Mutriku. And between the cliffs you’ll find perfect beaches to enjoy in peace and quiet, like Itzurun or Zarautz.

Cíes Islands, Galicia.An archipelago in the Rías Baixas with some of the world’s best beaches, such as Rodas beach. You have to book ahead to go to the islands, as their capacity is limited, but it’s worth it to enjoy the beauty of the Illas Atlánticas Natural Park and all their landscapes and seascapes. The only way to spend the night on these islands is camping, where you can enjoy the sounds and silence of nature even more.
