Lanzarote
Uga is situated near the Timanfaya National Park. Huge palm trees scattered around the place and lots of whitewashed houses greet visitors who come down from the mountains of lava.
Its whitewashed houses contrast sharply with the grey lava stretching around them. The highway which runs between Uga and Las Asomadas is known as the “wine road”, because it passes through rocks of lava and the traditional vineyards of Lanzarote, in the region of La Geria.
