Guadalajara
The Alto Tajo as it flows through Guadalajara has modelled a landscape of gorges and ravines between mountains and forests. Ocentejo, on the banks of the Tagus, is one of the most interesting sceneries in this area.In Ocentejo, you can find the "Hundido de Armallones", a rocky structure formed in the 16th century when the El Alar peak collapsed. You can also visit the Salinas de la Inesperada, where you can see the old warehouse, the troughs and canals that make up the salt factory. The ruins of an old castle of Celtiberian origin stand on top of a rock. The parish church of Ocentejo preserves Baroque goldsmith work from the 18th century.
