Mallorca
Muro, on the island of Majorca, has much to offer. Its Gothic Church and Santa Ana Convent, in the old part of the village, are well worth visiting, along with the Ethnographic Museum, located in a 17th century house.
Muro also has a clean, unspoilt beach, as well as a lagoon (designated Nature Reserve), which is home to autochthonous flora and fauna. Windmills form an integral part of the village landscape. The most traditional fiesta here is held in honour of San Antonio Abad, 17 January, with dance, tradition and ancestral music.
