Girona
Located in the Alt Empordà, 160 km from Barcelona and 20 km from the border with France, the town of Llançá has become a good option for a quiet holiday.
It also stands out for its artistic historical heritage, including the chapel of Sant Silvestre de Valleta y del Terrer (11th century); the defence bell tower in the Plaza Mayor (14th century); and the parish church of San Vicenç, from the mid-18th century. It boasts the Watercolour Museum-J. Martínez Lozano Foundation, the only one of its kind in Spain. And it features a large number of small and beautiful coves and an advantageous location, with rail and road connections.
