Garachico

The historic town of Garachico was once the main port of Tenerife.

Along with Buenavista and Los Silos, it forms what is known as “isla baja”, or “low island”, a beautiful place full of monuments and buildings of artistic interest, such as the churches of Santa Ana and Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, the convents of San Francisco and Santo Domingo, and the San Miguel castle.The San Roque festival, declared of national tourist interest and celebrated with a popular pilgrimage, is a great opportunity to pay it a visit and see the town.
