Borriol

A great destination for history and sports lovers

Borriol is less than 10 kilometres from the town of Castellón de la Plana. The town's history goes back to Roman times - the old Via Augusta Roman road passes through it. There are also numerous sites with remains from prehistoric times and from the Iberian civilisation. The Moors were here too, as can be seen from the remains of the town's castle. If, along with history, you also like golf, then in Borriol you can enjoy both, playing your favourite sport on the town's 18-hole course.
