Castellón-Castelló
Being so close to both the sea and the mountains is what gives this little town in Castellón its distinctive character. Between the Costa del Azahar and the inland Maestrat region lies Alcalá de Xivert-Alcossebre, a municipality where the sea and the mountains make for a landscape of contrasts.
Along this ten kilometre stretch of coastline you'll find five excellent beaches, as well as several unspoilt coves. These Mediterranean waters are ideal for water sports, such as sailing, fishing, diving, and many more. Alcossebre is also a good starting point for setting out to explore the Columbretes Islands Natural Park.
