The exhibition summarises in detail the fascinating evolution of the art of tattooing throughout history and around the world, where it has had a wide variety of functions, from body and ritual decoration to marking criminals. In this way, it focuses on the variety of phenomena and initiatives that have made this speciality of ancient origins a global phenomenon.
The exhibition features 240 creations from different periods and from around twenty countries: Photos, paintings, tattoo tools, books... The most innovative display consists of around twenty silicone models that replicate parts of the human body and have been tattooed by great masters of the field.
