This exhibition focuses on the work of Flemish master Pedro Pablo Rubens 1577-1640, the main driving agent behind one of history's most influential aesthetic revolutions. However, it is not simply a selection of the artist's paintings, but also incorporates paintings by other outstanding figures of his time, such as Van Dyck, Jordaens or Brueghel, juxtaposed with the works of the genius of the Flemish Baroque School.
The exhibition displays pieces and objects from the lesser-known collections of the Museo Nacional del Prado. Overall, this is an excellent opportunity to rediscover the famous Flemish School, which strays from stereotypes and clichés.
